I work with The Sleep Sense Strategy which focuses on tailormade, gentle sleep solutions to get your little one sleeping well. Each sleep plan is customised to the family I am working with, and I provide support every step of the way.
I’m proud to have been trained and mentored by Dana Obleman, the Founder of the The Sleep Sense™ Program, and I share her philosophy in that all sleep plans should be tailored to the family’s needs.
My Sleep Sense approach to improving your child’s sleep is pretty simple:
- I’ll give you honest information about WHY sleep is so important for your child’s well-being. This will give you all the motivation you need to make changes to your child’s sleep habits
- I’ll lay out an easy-to-follow, step-by-step plan that lets you make choices about what is the right approach for your child. All children are different, and nobody knows your child better than you do. I encourage you to use your knowledge with my strategies to customise a sleep plan that is right for your child
- I will show you how to measure success. No, you shouldn’t expect your child to sleep 12 uninterrupted hours on the first night (although it does happen!). I’ll tell you what you should expect along the way
- Support Support Support! The support I provide is a key reason the program works. Sometimes you just need someone in your corner to help you achieve your goals (kind of like a Personal Trainer!). The program has helped close to 100,000 families, with a 99% success rate so you can be very confident you can reach your goals (now I sound like a personal trainer!).
A little note about the “crying” question.
Since people often ask me about whether the program involves “crying it out,” I think it’s something that deserves to be addressed.
NO! My program does not involve a ‘cry it out’ strategy.
Having said that, crying is your child’s way of protesting change, and communicating when very young. You can expect that making changes to their sleep habits will result in some level of protest.
That’s why I’m always sure to tell parents that the program will most likely involve at least some amount of protest on the child’s part.
However, please understand that I will never ask you to ignore their cries. The reason that The Sleep Sense™ Program is so effective is that is allows you to develop a plan that you feel comfortable with.
For everyone I have personally worked with that has followed the plan, we have been 100% successful in reaching our sleep goals.
Sleep plays a vital role in health and well-being. Even more so in children as they develop. Giving your children the rest they need is the biggest gift you can give them.
It is equally as important as providing them with a healthy diet or a loving home. It is no secret that a well rested child is a happier and healthier child.
Let’s not forget you!
Being well rested can feel like a luxury when you have young children. The Sleep Sense Strategy makes it a reality. Both you and your child can get the rest you need to make life just that much easier.
So answer me this..
Are you feeling tired? When was the last time you had a good nights sleep?
Are you getting up to your little one in the night over and over?
Sick of bed time battles?
Are cat naps a regular form of sleep in your house?
Have you tried every trick in the book but your child just won’t sleep through the night?!
